The Brass Snap is meant be used with halyard to display your flag. The Brass Snap is recommended for residential poles and flags only. For commercial poles, we recommend the Stainless Steel Snap. When selecting the snap, it's important to take into consideration, the size of the halyard and the size of the flag.

- Larger flags and poles should use Stainless Steel Snaps
**We recommend covers on all snaps to prevent marking the pole and sliding of the snap. Covers also reduce the noise of banging on the pole.
