It’s a nice flag with an attractive design. But I’m underwhelmed with the quality. Thin translucent fabric which started to fade within a couple of weeks on the flag pole. It’s basically a one-time celebratory banner. By the time August is over my need to fly the flag will be over too. I’m sure it will last another month just fine. So, I’m not really upset that flag did not meet my usual expectation of high quality and durable construction, which is what I’ve come to expect from Gates.

Setting up this flagpole was easy. Prepped everything on the ground, set it in concrete in the 7” hole, leveled it out and let it sit before flying the flag. Next day pole was as sturdy as could be and flag was raised. Been 2 weeks and 2 major storms and ol glory is still flying high. Trickiest part was the clips on the rope, don’t overthink like I did. Extremely satisfied all the way around, from ordering to shipping to delivery to installation. It’s also nice to be a local company.
