What are they used for?

Mesh banners, otherwise known as windscreens, are the ideal solution for fences, scaffolding, and other applications where weight and wind load are a concern to the structure they’re mounted on. Designed to reduce wind impact in outdoor environments, mesh banners are lighter weight compared to vinyl, and are available in various styles to best meet the requirements of your particular project. As an added benefit, they also provide shade and increased privacy at locations such as schools, construction sites, and sports fields.

What we offer?

Mesh is typically referred to by its “blow-through” ratio. For example, a “70/30” banner refers to a banner that is 70% material and 30% perforations (small holes). This allows for 70% of the banner’s graphic to be displayed, while 30% is taken up by uniform perforations that wind is able to pass through.

  • 70/30 & 80/20 are the standard choices for mesh banners on large format applications displayed on buildings, fences, and railings
  • 50/50 & 60/40 are the best options for delicate structures such as temporary fencing, scaffolding, and construction sites
  • 90/10 is required for double-sided mesh. This option is most often used with over-the-street banners

Grommets are metal-reinforced holes placed along the banner edges. They are the most common finishing option, allowing for easy hanging with ropes, zip ties, or hooks.

Webbing is a seatbelt-like material, used to reinforce banner edges. This helps keep grommets from ripping out, and provides additional strength to banners.

D-rings are attached to reinforcedcorners of banners for secure tie-downpoints. Ideal for high-tensioninstallations or when a more durableanchoring method is required.
