What are your store hours?

Our offices in NJ and VA are open Monday - Friday, from 8:30am – 5:00pm.  We are available for phone orders and to answer your questions during that time. Online orders may be placed at any time. Most orders will ship same day if ordered before 2:00 PM.

Our New Jersey location also offers a retail store that is open to the public. The retail store hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

 

How do I Request a Quote?

Customers may request a quote for: stock items, custom items, flagpole installation & flagpole service. (Please note our flagpole installation and service areas here.) To request a quote call 1-800-874-1776, or you may email our offices directly.

How to Place an Order?

Orders can be placed in a variety of ways.  We are here to assist and ensure that your order is placed efficiently.

 

Order Online: Stock items can be ordered easily through the website at www.gatesflag.com.  Customers may also request a quote for custom items and/or flagpole installation & service. (Please note our flagpole installation and service areas here.)

Order by Phone:  We have a staff of highly trained individuals who can help determine exactly what you need.  Call us at 1-800-874-1776, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Order In-Store:  Come in and visit us at our retail location in Clifton, NJ.  With 150 years of expertise, we are happy to assist!  Please see our store hours above.

 

What are my payment options to place an order?

Whether placing an order online, in-store or over the phone, we have a variety of payment options to fit your needs.

 

Pay by Credit Card: We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.  There is no extra fee to pay with a credit card.

Pay by Check:  You may send in a check for an order that is placed online or over the phone.  Once the check is received, the order will ship.  Please note: Orders will NOT be sent until payment is received unless you have been approved through our credit check process.

If you would like to be set up to be invoiced for your order(s), please submit a request to request@gatesflag.com.

Pay by Purchase Order: Please be sure that purchase orders include all costs, including shipping & handling.  Quote requests may be emailed to the addresses below.  Purchase Orders may be emailed, faxed or mailed to the following locations:

Pay by Cash: Cash is accepted in our retail store.  Please note, we are not responsible for any cash that is lost or stolen in the mail.

When will my credit card be charged?

Credit cards are charged when the item(s) are shipped, picked up, or when your install or service is completed. *Unless previously discussed with the customer.

*For flagpole and banner installs, flagpole service and custom orders require a credit card to be held on file. In some cases, we may require a deposit. Your remaining balance will be charged once the service is completed.

Why was my order delayed or cancelled?

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for general guidelines on when to expect your order.  Please note that sometimes orders may be delayed or canceled for the following reasons:

 

Products are out of stock.  We offer a very large inventory of products, but occasionally items are out of stock.  If you have ordered an out of stock item, it typically takes 5-7 business days for the item to ship.  Customers will be notified of this delay upon placing the order.

There is a shipping delay.  Occasionally shipments may be delayed by UPS, USPS, or FedEx.  These delays can be due to weather, power outages, or other issues.  Gates Flag & Banner Company is not responsible for any delays incurred once a package leaves our location. .

Products are no longer available.  Although very rare, occasionally products are discontinued.  In the event that a product is no longer available our knowledgeable staff will provide you with a similar product alternative.

Customers are responsible for providing the correct Ship-To address.  Failure to do so may lead to further delays.  If you are experiencing a delay, please feel free to track your package here. Why is my order arriving in multiple shipments?

Depending on the size and availability of the items in your order, orders may be shipped in multiple packages.  If you have questions about your shipment, please contact us at 1-800-874-1776 or request@gatesflag.com.

What happens once you receive my order?

Upon receiving your order, we will get to work on filling your order right away.  Our #1 priority is getting your products to you as fast as possible. In stock products will ship the same day on orders received before 2 PM.  Please read our Shipping Policy for more information regarding the shipping procedures.

 

How can I change or cancel my order?

Orders may be changed or canceled before the shipping process begins.  In order to change or cancel, please contact us by calling 1-800-874-1776 or emailing request@gatesflag.com and referencing your original order number.   If the item has already been pulled for shipment, please note that you may incur a 15% restocking fee.  Once an order has shipped, customers must follow the Return Policy to return or exchange an item.

 

Why is there a charge on my card if my order was cancelled?

Credit cards are charged when your order is shipped.  If your credit card has been charged, and you have canceled or returned your item, please see our Return Policy to better understand when and if you will receive a refund.  Credits may take several days to be reflected on your account.
